Kolkata, 31 January (H.S.)

Senior BJP leader Amit Malviya launched a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding the political situation in West Bengal through a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday. In his post, he claimed that incidents of Hindus being forced to eat beef are occurring in West Bengal, and these are not isolated incidents but a serious warning.

Amit Malviya alleged that if Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress return to power in 2026, such incidents will not be exceptions but will become commonplace. He stated that this issue is not about personal choices or dietary habits, but about the blatant suppression of the faith and religious beliefs of Hindus.

In his post, he also alleged that the Mamata Banerjee government has completely failed to curb cow smuggling and illegal slaughter in the state. According to him, this sends the message that the state administration has no regard for Hindu sentiments.

Amit Malviya appealed to Hindu Bengalis to be vigilant, stating that this is not merely a political issue, but one of dignity, identity, and self-preservation. He warned that silence today could invite even greater humiliation in the future.
