
Bhubaneswar, 21 January (H.S.): The Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET), conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, was held smoothly across the state on Wednesday, with 56,495 candidates appearing for the examination at 227 designated centres.
The examination was conducted from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm under strict administrative and security arrangements to ensure a fair and orderly process. Adequate measures were put in place at all centres to facilitate candidates and maintain examination discipline.
Ahead of the examination, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended his best wishes to the aspirants. He urged candidates to approach the test with confidence and focus, advising them to remain calm and attentive while answering the questions.
Centre authorities confirmed that necessary arrangements were made for the convenience of candidates. “Separate rooms were arranged for candidates to keep their personal belongings, as only pens and admit cards were allowed inside the examination hall,” said Durgeshnandini Das, Headmistress of Badambadi New Colony High School.
Officials stated that the examination concluded peacefully without any major incidents, reflecting effective coordination among the education department, district administration, and law enforcement agencies.
