Guwahati, 14 January (HS): Renowned singer Zubeen Garg had died due to drowning, it was revealed during a hearing at a Singapore court, where several crucial details related to the incident came to light.

According to information presented before the court, Zubeen Garg had entered the water without wearing a life jacket. The absence of basic safety gear has been highlighted as a significant factor in the incident.

The court was also informed that a liquor party had taken place on the yacht prior to Garg entering the sea for swimming. These details have raised serious questions regarding safety measures and circumstances leading to the tragedy.
