New Delhi, 13 January (H.S.): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha expressed gratitude to the central government on Tuesday for its timely and decisive intervention in compelling quick-commerce platforms to eliminate 10-minute delivery branding. He stated that this measure will safeguard delivery riders and the general public alike.

Chadha emphasized that scrapping the 10-minute delivery stipulation represents a commendable step forward. He noted the immense pressure created when delivery agents set out with bags emblazoned 10 minutes, while timers relentlessly tick down on customers' screens, fostering dangerously reckless behavior.

In recent months, he has spoken with hundreds of delivery personnel who endure excessive workloads and inadequate compensation. These workers risk their lives daily to fulfill unrealistic promises imposed upon them.Chadha thanked all citizens who stood resolutely for human life, safety, and dignity. He reassured gig workers that they stand not alone, with widespread solidarity behind them.
