Prayagraj,
19 Sept (HS): MP Praveen Patel and Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani visited the three-day
Disability Skills Exhibition, organized by the Department for the Empowerment
of Persons with Disabilities and the Kamtanath Sevaarth Sansthan as part of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday service fortnight. They saw various
products and cultural activities created by children with disabilities. Mayor
Ganesh Kesarwani said that before 2014, disabled people were known as the
Viklang (disabled), but Prime Minister Narendra Modi replaced the
term Viklang with Divyang (Divyang) and gave them the
right to live with dignity in society. Their skills were elevated to new
heights, making them socially recognized for their social skills. Today, the
Modi government at the center and the Yogi government in the state have worked
to increase education, medical facilities, and other facilities for the
disabled, including pensions. In today's modern era, electric motorbikes,
tricycles, and modern equipment suited to their needs are being distributed
across the country.
Before
this, the coordinator of the program, President of Kamtanath Sevaarth Sanstha
