New Delhi, August 5 (H.S.): The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has prolonged the judicial custody of all nine accused, including AAP leader Naresh Balyan, until August 13. Special Judge Digvijay Singh's order followed a hearing where the accused appeared via video conference.

The court acknowledged the third supplementary charge sheet submitted by Delhi Police on July 15. This charge sheet claims that Vinita, wife of accused Vikas Gehlot, transported weapons at her husband's request on April 17, which were later found at a relative’s home.

Previously, on May 27, Balyan's second bail petition was denied. The court also took cognizance of charges against Sahil alias Poly, Vijay alias Kalu, and Jyoti Prakash alias Baba under sections 3 and 4 of MCOCA.

Additionally, on February 24, charges against accused Ritik Peter were recognized. Naresh Balyan was arrested in the MCOCA case after earlier being granted bail on December 4, 2024, and again on November 30, 2024, following an audio clip release involving gangster Kapil Sangwan.
