PM Modi to visit Bihar, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh on June 20-21
Delhi, 19 June (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh on June 20-21. On June 20, he will be in Siwan, Bihar, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple developmental projects around noon.

Delhi, 19 June (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh on June 20-21. On June 20, he will be in Siwan, Bihar, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple developmental projects around noon. He will address the gathering during this event. Later, he will travel to Bhubaneswar, Odisha, to chair a state-level function marking the completion of the Odisha Government’s first year at around 4:15 PM, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects exceeding Rs 18,600 crore.

On June 21, the Prime Minister will participate in the International Yoga Day mass yoga demonstration at 6:30 AM in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, addressing the attendees at the event.

In Bihar, PM Modi's initiatives will focus on enhancing infrastructure and socio-economic development. He will launch the new Vaishali-Deoria railway line project valued over Rs 400 crore and flag off new train services, including the Vande Bharat Express between Patliputra and Gorakhpur. Additionally, he will flag off a locomotive for export to Guinea, which is the first manufactured at the Marhowra Plant and includes advanced technological features.

As part of the Namami Gange project, he will inaugurate six sewage treatment plants worth over Rs 1,800 crore and lay the foundation for various water supply projects totaling over Rs 3,000 crore to ensure clean drinking water. Aiming to bolster power infrastructure, he will also initiate a 500 MWh Battery Energy Storage System at various substations across the state, enabling better energy management and reduced costs. Furthermore, he will distribute the first installment of PMAY U benefits to over 53,600 beneficiaries and officiate the Grih Pravesh Ceremony for completed houses.

In Odisha, during the state-level function,PM Modi will announce numerous projects worth over Rs 18,600 crore targeting sectors such as drinking water, irrigation, and health infrastructure. He will flag off new train services to Boudh district and launch 100 electric buses to promote sustainable transport. The Prime Minister will also present the Odisha Vision Document, focusing on inclusive growth through proposed milestones for 2036 and 2047, and initiate the ‘Baraputra Aitihya Gram Yojana’ for cultural tourism.

For the 11th International Day of Yoga in Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi will lead the national celebration alongside nearly 500,000 participants in Visakhapatnam. With the 2023 theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the event emphasizes the interconnection of health and wellness. Since 2015, the International Yoga Day has transformed into a significant global health movement, with PM Modi celebrating it at various prominent locations.
