Kathmandu, May 9 (HS): The Nepal government has appealed to Nepali citizens residing in Pakistan to stay in a safe location and to immediately inform the embassy about their situation.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, Nepali citizens in Pakistan were advised to remain safe in their residences due to changing circumstances, avoid going outside without reason, and to contact the Nepali embassy in Islamabad immediately. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a helpline number for Nepali citizens living in Pakistan and has urged them to get in touch without delay.

Parents of Nepali students studying in Pakistan have been asked to contact the embassy's helpline number for any related information. Numerous students are residing in Pakistan for medical studies.
