New Delhi, May 9 (HS): India and Pakistan are facing heightened conflict, with Pakistan launching continuous attacks thwarted by Indian forces.
A failed drone attack on Gujarat and a suicide bombing in Rajouri by activated terrorist sleeper cells highlight the escalation. India retaliated with missile strikes on Sialkot and a drone attack in Lahore.
The Indian Army announced the detection of Pakistan drone attacks along the western borders at multiple locations and confirmed active engagement in neutralising the intruding missiles. India targeted Lahore and successfully destroyed the air defence system in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
In an earlier incident, Pakistan launched eight missiles aimed at Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, and Arnia, all of which were intercepted and neutralised by Indian air defence units.
Additionally, Indian air defence intercepted Pakistani drones in Udhampur and Jaisalmer, with reports of explosions and flashes in the sky during these engagements.
