Kathmandu, May 8 (HS): In a significant political move, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal, and the Nawaraj Subedi-led Joint People’s Movement Committee have initiated an indefinite mass movement aimed at restoring the monarchy and safeguarding the Sanatan Hindu religion.
The announcement occurred during a press conference at Nawadurga Party Palace in Sukedhara, Kathmandu. Nawaraj Subedi declared that the movement would commence on Jestha 15 (May 29) and would be peaceful, involving civil disobedience and Satyagraha.
The initiative seeks systemic change, not targeting any specific government, with prominent political figures, including RPP leaders, endorsing the movement's objectives.
