Nalbari (Assam), 22 May (HS): A student became a victim of an accident on Thursday in Barbhag under Nalbari district. The student drowned in the river while bathing in the river. The victim was identified as Junaid Rehman, a resident of Dukhutimukh, Barbhag.

Junaid Rehman is originally from Kamarkuchi. Junaid Rehman is a 10th class student of Barbhag Shankardev Shishu Niketan. The student drowned while trying to bathe in the river.

Local people have told that Junaid had gone to Dukhutimukh with his friends to have food today. As soon as the information was received, the police and SDRF team reached the spot. The student could not be traced till the last information was received. There is mourning in the area due to this incident.
