New Delhi, May 22 (H.S.): In a match played on Wednesday night in the Saudi Pro League 2024-25, Al Nassr registered an important 2-0 victory over Al Khaleej. With this win, the team has 67 points from 33 matches, remaining in fourth place in the standings. The goals for Al Nassr were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo and John Duran.

In the first half, Al Nassr started aggressively, but due to a lack of finishing in the final moments, the score remained 0-0. Ronaldo had two opportunities to score but failed to find the net. Coach Stefano Pioli's team appeared slightly slow in their attack.

In the second half, Al Nassr began with full aggression. In the 47th minute, Ronaldo had a golden opportunity to score from a cutback, but his shot went over the bar. Then, in the 63rd minute, Al Nassr was awarded a penalty, but Ronaldo also missed that chance.

Duran Took the Lead

After continuously missing chances, finally, in the 75th minute, John Duran scored with a brilliant header from Sadio Mane's cross, giving Al Nassr a 1-0 lead.

In the dying moments of the match, it seemed that Ronaldo would finish without scoring, but in stoppage time, he was awarded another penalty after Al Khaleej goalkeeper Ozaibi Rayaad brought him down in the box. Following VAR confirmation, Ronaldo made no mistake this time and converted the penalty into a goal, securing a 2-0 victory for Al Nassr.

This win was uplifting for Al Nassr in the final phase of the season, while Ronaldo also finally finished the match with a goal.
