Lucknow, 11 May (HS): In the capital Lucknow on Sunday, MP
Jagdambika Pal clarified the government's stand on the ongoing tension with
Pakistan. He said that a ceasefire was agreed upon between India and Pakistan.
But, after some time, the ceasefire was violated by Pakistan. On this, our
government and armed forces warned them and also gave a strong response. MP
Jagdambika Pal further said that the government has clearly said that this is a
ceasefire. But, if any terrorist action takes place then it will be considered an
act of war. There is a ceasefire on the India-Pakistan border after around
11.30 pm on Saturday night. At present the situation is normal.
On the killing of 26 innocent people in Pahalgam, the Prime
Minister had clearly said that we will not only destroy the terrorists, but
will also punish their leaders in an unimaginable way. This was India's
intention too. The Indian armed forces accomplished this with their bravery.
Nine terrorist camps of Pakistan were destroyed in precise attacks. In his
statement, the MP said that in this action, the Indian armed forces did not
target any ordinary Pakistani citizen. The ceasefire on the LoC was violated
for 14 consecutive days. Our civilian areas and gurudwaras were targeted, whereas
our aim was only to eliminate the terrorists.
