This stunning maiden century in his debut season captivated fans and went viral on social media, making it a moment cricket lovers will cherish.

Priyansh began his innings in a spectacular fashion. He hit a six off the very first ball of the match bowled by Khaleel Ahmed and collected a total of 16 runs in the first over. From the outset, he appeared aggressive and maintained his rhythm despite the fall of wickets. His innings of 103 runs included 7 fours and 9 sixes.

After the match, Punjab Kings' assistant coach Brad Haddin praised Priyansh highly. He said, “We realized in the very first practice game that this boy is something special. In the 2023-24 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Priyansh was Delhi's top run-scorer. He made 222 runs in 7 innings, including a century he scored at Wankhede Stadium against Uttar Pradesh, hitting 10 sixes in the process. He went unsold in the IPL 2024 auction, but this time Punjab Kings bought him for ₹3.8 crores, and now he has proven himself to be worth every penny of that price.
