Ningbo, 9 April (H.S.): At the Badminton Asia Championships 2025, two Indian mixed doubles pairs, Dhruv Kapila-Tanisha Crasto and Ashith Surya-Amrutha Pramuthesh, advanced to the Round of 16 after winning their first matches.

Dhruv-Tanisha beat Malaysia’s Hoo Pang Ron and Cheng Su Yin 2-1. The Indian duo fell behind in the match after losing the first game 15-21, but fought back to clinch consecutive games 21-12 and 21-11 to win.
