Asaram Bapu, serving a life sentence for the sexual exploitation of a student from his Gurukul, has received interim relief from the Rajasthan High Court, extending his bail until June 30, considering his health condition. This decision follows a lengthy debate and comes after years of Asaram's declining health while jailed since 2013 on serious charges. He has filed multiple bail petitions over time, recently returning to jail after his previous bail expired. Notably, the Gujarat High Court had also extended his interim bail period until June 30 shortly before this ruling.
