Islamabad, April 3 (H.S.): The recruitment process for the Tribal Force, Frontier Corps, and Baloch Levy in Pakistan has been successfully completed after a gap of 27 years. This is considered a significant step towards maintaining public order along the interprovincial Balochistan border in Punjab.
According to a report , this recruitment was conducted under the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. A total of 10,236 applications were received for the positions of Naik and other essential roles in the Frontier Corps and Baloch Levy in Dera Ghazi Khan. Of these, 771 candidates were selected for an interview. Out of those interviewed, 325 were chosen. In Rajanpur, 2,855 applications were received, with 525 candidates called for interviews, and 180 selected. These recruits will undergo six months of mandatory training. A key feature of this recruitment was the introduction of a quota for women for the first time in the history of the Tribal Force.
