Guwahati, 27 April (HS): The series of questions and answers between Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma regarding Pakistan continues. Gaurav Gogoi has asked three questions to the Chief Minister.

Gaurav Gogoi, Will you resign if you are unable to prove the allegation that I and my wife are agents of an enemy country? Will you answer questions related to your wife and children? Will the state police arrest those who are associated with the coal mafia, who are damaging the hills of Assam and making illegal money worth crores?

Gogoi further said that he is waiting for the SIT report.

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma clarified in his reply that neither he nor his son and daughter have ever visited Pakistan. Apart from this, his wife and any member of the family can never even think of accepting any salary or financial assistance from Pakistan. He also said that all his family members are Indian citizens and his children never talked about giving up Indian citizenship.

The Chief Minister further counter-questioned, saying, Now it is time for you to answer. In the coming days, material related to the connection between the Congress MP and Pakistan will be made public.
