Bhubaneswar, 15 April (H.S.): Public darshan at the Shree Jagannath Temple will remain suspended for four hours this evening due to the observance of the sacred Banakalagi Niti ritual of the deities.
According to an official notification issued by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, the ritual will be performed on Wednesday, marking the auspicious occasion of Baishakha Krishna Trayodashi.
As per the schedule, public access for darshan will be restricted from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, following the completion of the second Bhogamandap Bhoga (offering of food to the deities).
Devotees are advised to plan their visit accordingly, as entry into the temple premises will not be permitted during this period.
