New Delhi, April 25 (HS): The country's largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), has announced its results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25. The company's profit for the January-March quarter, which ended on March 31, 2025, has decreased by one percent to ₹3,911 crores. Maruti Suzuki has also declared a final dividend of ₹135 per share for the fiscal year 2024-25.
Maruti Suzuki India reported in its regulatory filing to the stock market on Friday that the net profit for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25 decreased by one percent to ₹3,911 crores. In the previous fiscal year 2023-24, the company's net profit for the January-March quarter was ₹3,952 crores. The company has also declared a final dividend of ₹135 per share. However, during the January-March quarter, the company's revenue increased by 6.37 percent to ₹40,920.1 crores, compared to ₹38,471.2 crores in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
According to the company, during the January-March quarter, Maruti Suzuki India's total expenditure increased by 8.55 percent year-on-year to ₹37,585.5 crores. The company stated that in fiscal year 2024-25, it recorded the highest annual total sales and exports. Additionally, the company has remained the top exporter for the fourth consecutive year, contributing nearly 43 percent to the total passenger vehicle exports from India. Thus, while Maruti Suzuki India's net profit has slightly decreased in the fourth quarter, the company's total income has increased.
