Thiruvananthapuram, 21 April(HS): Rattled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's and Home Minister Amit Shah's popularity, the CPI(M), the ruling party in Kerala, has conceived a plan to seize power in all temples across the State.
Last Saturday, Marxists presented a dance and music show at a Kannur Temple in connection with the annual festival. The comrades danced to the tunes of Ce Guvera Zindabad, Fidel Castro Zindabad and Mao Zedong Zindabad much to the shock of Hindus in the State. Guvera. Castro abd Mao, the rulers from Latin America and China respectively are known more for their immoral acts. “Temple is not a place to sing songs in praise of these Communist leaders,” said R V Babu, senior office bearer of Hindu Aikyavedi.
But V G Tampi, Kerala president of VHP sounded upset over the lastest developments. “The day is not far off when Hindus become strangers and unwanted in their State. What has happened in Kashmir before the abrogation of Article 370 and what is happening in West Bengal right now will swallow Kerala in no time,” said Tampi while addressing a public meeting held by VHP on Monday to express solidarity with the Hindus who were massacred by the TMC goons in Murshidabad in West Bengal.
Tampi pointed out that the attacks on culture and tradition of temple customs have become a daily event in the State. “Though we do nit have the exact numbers of people getting murdered daily in Kerala, it can be said with authority that 80 per cent of the victims belong to the Hindu community,” said Tampi.
Since Kerala is going to the polls to elect new local bodies this year and the assembly election in April-May 2026, the Marxists are out to seize all temples across the State. “The Congress and CPI(M) are working together to sabotage the possibilities of a Hindu renaissance in the State,” said Babu.
In an interesting turn around the newly elected CPI(M) general secretary M A Baby declared on Sunday that his party was with Sonia and Rahul who are facing charges by the ED in connection with the PMLA laws. “The spat which we see between the CPI(M) and the Congress is for public consumption. The CPI(M) wants the Congress to come back to power in the Centre so that they can finish off the Sanatana Dharma once and for ever,” said P Sujathan, veteran journalist and author.
