Kathmandu, April 2 (H.S.): The Bhutanese government has denied claims of housing ten citizens deported by the U.S., instead sending them back to Nepal.

Among these individuals, three have been arrested for illegal entry into Nepal.Prior to their deportation, all ten had been living in Bhutanese refugee camps in Nepal. Jhapa's Superintendent of Police, Milan KC, stated that the arrests occurred after the Bhutanese government refused to accommodate the returnees, leading them to cross back into Nepal via India.

The previous U.S. administration had relocated these refugees, but they are now being sent back to Nepal. Upon their arrival at Thimphu Airport, the Bhutanese government provided each person with 30,000 rupees before directing them back to the refugee camp in Nepal.
