New Delhi, April 2 (H.S.): During the Lok Sabha discussion on the Waqf Amendment Bill, Akhilesh Yadav, leader of the Socialist Party, made a sarcastic comment about the BJP's delay in selecting its next national president, straying from the main topic.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah countered by criticizing the Samajwadi Party's dynastic politics. Akhilesh highlighted the internal strife within the BJP, questioning how a party claiming to be the world's largest had not yet appointed a national president.
In response, Shah remarked that Akhilesh's smile meant he would reply in kind, saying the Samajwadi Party's leadership would come from a family while the BJP needs to consult its vast member base, which takes time.
