New Delhi, April 3 (H.S.): Sonia Gandhi said on Thursday during the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) meeting that the central government has forcibly passed the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. This bill is an attack on the Constitution.

Addressing Congress MPs at the Congress Parliamentary Party meeting in the Constitutional Hall, Sonia Gandhi stated that the One Nation, One Election Bill is another violation of the Constitution and the party will strongly oppose it.

During the meeting, Sonia Gandhi urged the MPs, It is essential for all of us to continue fighting for what is right and just, and to expose the Modi government's failures and its intention to transform India into a surveillance state.

The meeting was attended by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, along with all party MPs.
