Guwahati, 19 April (HS): Vishwa Hindu Parishad Guwahati Mahanagar Samiti submitted a memorandum to President through District Deputy Commissioner at Chachal Dharna Sthal in Barbari demanding nationwide protest and President's rule on violence against Hindus in West Bengal and inaction of the state government there. Metropolitan unit president Sabin Rajkhowa, North East Province editor Brajjyoti Sharma, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Alok Tripathi, BJP's metropolitan unit secretary Vijay Pathak and Ranjit Sharma addressed the gathering. VHP workers along with members of various fields of Sangh and members of other concern were present in the program. Benazir Ilyas, ACS was present there to take the memorandum from Deputy Commissioner's office and accepted the memorandum. Metropolitan unit secretary Ratul Deka thanked everyone for making the program successful.
