Thoubal/Churachandpur (Manipur), 18 April (HS): Security forces in Manipur arrested two KYKL (Kanglei Yaval Kanna Lup) rebels Mutum Ranjan Meitei alias Lamjingba (21) and Ngsepam Barlin Singh alias Kanglei (23) from opposite HP oil pump on NH-102, Wangjing Khabakhong, Thoubal district. One 36 HE hand grenade, one Chinese hand grenade, two mobile phones, two keypad mobiles, one blue purse, one sling bag, one Aadhar card, one PAN card and one two-wheeler were recovered from them.

In another operation, Manipur police arrested two persons Chinsonlun (30) and Lamsuanalal Tombing (29) in connection with the viral video in which unidentified miscreants were seen brandishing sophisticated weapons at an undisclosed location in Churachandpur police station area. Police are investigating both the cases.
