Bhopal, April 15 (H.S.): Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh, has lodged a complaint against yoga guru Baba Ramdev at the TT Nagar police station in Bhopal. Singh alleges that Ramdev's recent comments about a 'popular drink' brand, which he claimed could lead to the establishment of madrasas in India, have hurt religious sentiments. Singh criticized Ramdev's remarks, made during product promotion, as inflammatory. He has called for an FIR to be filed against Ramdev under current laws, indicating he will wait a week for police action before considering legal measures.
Additional DCP Rashmi Agarwal Dubey confirmed receipt of the complaint and stated that an investigation is ongoing, with further action pending based on the statements and evidence collected.
