Bilaspur/Raipur, March 30 (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Chhattisgarh on a one-day visit on Sunday. Prime Minister Modi landed at Bilaspur Helipad around 2:45 PM via an Air Force aircraft. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Governor Ramen Deka warmly welcomed Prime Minister Modi at Mohbhatta Helipad in Bilaspur district.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects exceeding Rs 33,700 crore in Chhattisgarh. His visit to Mohbhattha village marked his first since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Modi flagged off the MEMU train service in the Abhanpur-Raipur section and handed over replica keys of houses to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G). He also initiated NTPC's Sipat Super Thermal Power Project Stage-III (1x800MW) worth over Rs 9,790 crore, utilizing advanced Ultra-Supercritical Technology.
