New Delhi, March 25 (H.S.): Union Home Minister Amit Shah welcomed the announcement by two organizations associated with the Hurriyat Conference, JK People's Movement and Democratic Political Movement, to sever all ties with separatism, stating that the Modi government's integration policies have eradicated separatism from Jammu and Kashmir.

Two organizations linked to the Hurriyat have announced that they are severing all ties with separatism. I welcome this step towards strengthening India's unity and urge all such groups to come forward and eliminate separatism for good. This is a significant victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of building a developed, peaceful, and unified India.
This development comes just days after the Ministry of Home Affairs declared the Awami Action Committee (ACC) led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the Jammu Kashmir Ittihadul Muslimin (JKIM) led by Masroor Abbas Ansari as organizations banned for five years under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
