Gorakhpur,
25 March (HS): On the eighth anniversary of his government, Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath opened an exhibition commemorating public welfare
programmes. He commended Prime Minister
Modi's leadership and emphasized gains achieved under the BJP's term,
contrasted with the state's previous issues, such as inadequate infrastructure
and economic circumstances. The Chief
Minister used the occasion to highlight his government's accomplishments,
citing eight years of'service, safety, and excellent administration' under
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
During a special event arranged for the anniversary, he thanked
inhabitants of the state for their continuing support. During his speech, Adityanath lambasted
previous governments, citing the state's historical challenges with
infrastructure, the economy, and law and order.
He
emphasized the state's favorable improvements, which he attributed to a shift
in government. The BJP's return to power
with a strong mandate in 2017 and subsequent win in 2022 have cemented
Adityanath's status as a key leader in Uttar Pradesh.
