New Delhi, March 25 (H.S.): The central government has invited applications to fill two vacancies in the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. The qualifications, eligibility, salary, and other terms and conditions for the appointment of any candidate will be in accordance with the provisions of the Tribunal Reforms Act and the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution said that the Department of Consumer Affairs has invited applications only through online means. The search-cum-selection committee constituted under the Tribunal Reforms Act 2021 will consider the qualifications and experience of candidates with due importance, will examine the applications concerning the suitability for the positions, and will shortlist candidates for personal interviews. The final selection will be based on the overall evaluation of candidates by the committee, based on their qualifications, experience, and personal interview.

According to the ministry, eligible and interested candidates are invited to apply online via https://jagograhakjago.gov.in/ncdrc from March 25, 2025. The deadline for receiving applications from candidates is April 23, 2025. Where applicable, a copy of the online submitted application, along with the required documents, can be submitted to the Under Secretary (CPU), Department of Consumer Affairs, Room No. 466-A, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi by April 23.
