Chennai, 23 March (H.S.): The Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) has announced that applications are now open for six special sports hostels. These hostels provide college students excelling in sports with professional training, accommodation, and nutritious food.

To be eligible, applicants must be 17 years old as of January 1, 2025, and enrolled in a college degree or postgraduate programme. They should also have secured top positions in state or national-level sports competitions. Interested students can apply online, with the last date for submission being April 6, 2025, by 5:00 pm.

State-level selection trials will be held on April 8, 2025, from 7:00 am at designated venues in Chennai. Eligible candidates will be notified via SMS and WhatsApp. For more information and to apply online, please visit the official website.
