New Delhi, March 19 (H.S.): The All India Representative Assembly of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to convene from March 21 to 23 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, at the Janseva Vidya Kendra in Channenahalli. This annual meeting is the organization's highest policy-making body, and it will focus on the work report for 2024-25, engaging in critical discussions and proposals for special initiatives.
Key highlights include preparations for the centenary celebrations of the Sangh's work during Vijayadashami in 2025, which will extend into 2026. The assembly will also release a statement honoring Rani Abbakka, coinciding with her 500th birth anniversary.
Discussions will touch on two proposals linked to Bangladesh, and a gratitude and action plan in light of the Sangh's centennial. Additionally, social transformation efforts within the Sangh's branches will be a focus, particularly initiatives for Panch Parivartan. Attendees will include RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, co-general secretaries, executive committee members, and approximately 1480 elected representatives, along with leaders from various RSS-affiliated organizations, including the Bharatiya Janata Party and Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
