New

Delhi, 19 March (HS): As calls for the destruction of Aurangzeb's mausoleum in

Shambji Nagar rise, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) spokesperson Sunil

Ambekar highlighted on Wednesday that the Mughal Emperor is irrelevant in

current times and denounced all forms of violence.

'Aurangzeb is obsolete now. No type of violence is encouraged,

Ambekar warned. The declaration comes

amid escalating tensions in Nagpur following violent outbursts in response to

requests to remove the tomb, which resulted in the arrest of 50 people. A curfew remains in force across Nagpur's 10

police areas for the second day while police investigate the March 17

confrontations. DCP Rahul Maknikar

stated that the situation is under control.

“|The inquiry is now underway. We

have organized ten teams. We've apprehended 50 individuals so far. In parallel, the Judicial Magistrate First

Class Court has ordered 19 suspects in police custody till March 21, following

their presentation by Ganeshpeth police,” he added.

Yogesh Kadam, Maharashtra's Junior Minister

for Home (Urban), has criticized recent violence, citing it as a serious issue,

and promised harsh action against culprits. These events occur as RSS prepares to commemorate its centenary and

analyze the progress of its Shakha units.

This year, on Vijayadashami, RSS will

celebrate its 100th anniversary.The

centenary year will be honored from 2025 to 2026. The expansion of Shakha and

how it was accomplished will be evaluated. The goals will be evaluated,' added Ambekar. The Panch Parivartan project and the

promotion of national progress will be discussed during the centennial.

During

the ceremonies, RSS intends to outline its future ambitions, with an emphasis

on national development.'Karyakarta

will focus on what can be done to promote national progress. Two recommendations address the Bangladesh

situation and what should be done in the future: the RSS's 100-year journey and

the development of a future roadmap for the Sangh,' Ambekar explained.

RSS

officials, including Chief Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary Dattatreya

Hosabale, will have discussions and launch special classes for individuals

under 40.'Special lessons will be

offered for people under the age of 40, followed by another set for those aged

40 to 60 as part of the centenary.

According to Ambekar, Mohan Bhagwat, Hosabale, and other prominent

leaders would participate in the conversation.

Ambekar

emphasized the organization's reach, noting an increase in interest from young

people connecting with the RSS, highlighting digital outreach as a critical

tool for youths to engage with the Sangh.

'The data speaks for itself. If they

are unable to approach us physically, they are contacting us via our website

and urging to join the RSS,' Ambekar added.
