Delhi, 19 March (HS): As calls for the destruction of Aurangzeb's mausoleum in
Shambji Nagar rise, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) spokesperson Sunil
Ambekar highlighted on Wednesday that the Mughal Emperor is irrelevant in
current times and denounced all forms of violence.
'Aurangzeb is obsolete now. No type of violence is encouraged,
Ambekar warned. The declaration comes
amid escalating tensions in Nagpur following violent outbursts in response to
requests to remove the tomb, which resulted in the arrest of 50 people. A curfew remains in force across Nagpur's 10
police areas for the second day while police investigate the March 17
confrontations. DCP Rahul Maknikar
stated that the situation is under control.
“|The inquiry is now underway. We
have organized ten teams. We've apprehended 50 individuals so far. In parallel, the Judicial Magistrate First
Class Court has ordered 19 suspects in police custody till March 21, following
their presentation by Ganeshpeth police,” he added.
Yogesh Kadam, Maharashtra's Junior Minister
for Home (Urban), has criticized recent violence, citing it as a serious issue,
and promised harsh action against culprits.These events occur as RSS prepares to commemorate its centenary and
analyze the progress of its Shakha units.
This year, on Vijayadashami, RSS will
celebrate its 100th anniversary.The
centenary year will be honored from 2025 to 2026. The expansion of Shakha and
how it was accomplished will be evaluated.The goals will be evaluated,' added Ambekar.The Panch Parivartan project and the
promotion of national progress will be discussed during the centennial.
During
the ceremonies, RSS intends to outline its future ambitions, with an emphasis
on national development.'Karyakarta
will focus on what can be done to promote national progress.Two recommendations address the Bangladesh
situation and what should be done in the future: the RSS's 100-year journey and
the development of a future roadmap for the Sangh,' Ambekar explained.
RSS
officials, including Chief Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary Dattatreya
Hosabale, will have discussions and launch special classes for individuals
under 40.'Special lessons will be
offered for people under the age of 40, followed by another set for those aged
40 to 60 as part of the centenary.
According to Ambekar, Mohan Bhagwat, Hosabale, and other prominent
leaders would participate in the conversation.
Ambekar
emphasized the organization's reach, noting an increase in interest from young
people connecting with the RSS, highlighting digital outreach as a critical
tool for youths to engage with the Sangh.

and urging to join the RSS,' Ambekar added.
