New Delhi, March 16 (HS): In a podcast with Lex Friedman,PM Modi shed light on the role of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in his life, stating that he considers himself fortunate to have learned the essence of life from a prestigious organization like the RSS.

During the podcast conversation with American computer scientist and podcaster Lex Fridman, Prime Minister Modi discussed various aspects related to his personal and social life, including the RSS.

In response to a question about the role of the RSS in his life, Prime Minister Modi said that the organization has helped shape him. Over the past 100 years, the RSS has given the nation many volunteers who have received values from this sacred organization and worked for the country. He mentioned that the RSS is the largest voluntary organization in the world, with millions of people associated with it. Understanding the RSS is not easy; it inspires dedication to serving the nation and people. In this context, it motivates individuals to do something for society.

The Prime Minister highlighted the various organizations linked to the RSS, emphasizing the active involvement of RSS volunteers in multiple fields. These include Seva Bharti, which conducts millions of service projects in impoverished areas, and Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, focused on tribal communities with over 70,000 schools. Additionally, Vidya Bharati manages 25,000 schools educating over 3 million students, while the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh boasts over 55,000 unions nationwide, promoting the unification of workers, differing from the communists' global labor solidarity.
