Ghaziabad,
07 Feb (H.S.): SWAT team rural and Tronica City police arrested two cow
smugglers from Amroha district during an encounter on late Thursday night. Both
of them were shot in the legs by the police. They have been taken for treatment
and admitted to the government hospital.

Suryabali Maurya said that the accused were involved in cow slaughter by
throwing the remains of cows in the Tronica City area about 20 days ago.
Illegal weapons and knives, ropes etc. related to the cow slaughter incident
have been recovered from their possession.
The
accused include Sajid alias Sadua resident of Ujhari police station Saidanwali
district Amroha (present address Peeli Patti Janta Colony police station
Welcome Jafrabad Delhi) and Bajju alias Ajju alias Wajahat son of Babu Qureshi
is a resident of Dakka Thana Saidangali Amroha. Sajid has previously been a
rewardee of Rs. 25000 in a case of cow slaughter from Amroha and Bajju has
previously been a rewardee of Rs. 15000 in another case of cow slaughter. Cops
revealed that the accused have thrown the remains of four cows found in Thana
Tronica City area. They were stolen cows from NCR area in Honda City and
slaughtered them in Delhi and threw their remains in two plastic bags in a
roadside sewer pit in Tronica City area. More than two dozen cases of cow
slaughter, theft, attempt to murder, Arms Act etc. including Gangster Act are
registered against the accused in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Sambhal, Amroha,
etc. and information about their other criminal history is being compiled for
imposing stringent action against them.
