Bhubaneswar, 5 February (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed his deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the passing of the renowned Odia lyricist and poet, Sangram Mohanty. In a statement, Pradhan described Mohanty as a person of simplicity and sweetness, whose contributions to Odia music and culture will forever be remembered.

“I am deeply saddened and heartbroken to hear about the demise of Sangram Mohanty. He was a person with a kind and humble nature, known for his sweet voice and profound lyrics. His immense contribution to the Odia music industry, as well as the songs he penned, will remain etched in the hearts of listeners for generations,” said Pradhan.

The Union Minister also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family, saying, “I pray for the eternal peace of his soul and extend my heartfelt sympathy to his grieving family.”
