Bhubaneswar, 5 February (H.S.): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a dense fog warning for 12 districts in Odisha for February 6.

According to the IMD forecast, the districts expected to be impacted by dense fog are Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Nayagarh, and Angul. Additionally, shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur during the early morning hours at a few places in these districts, as well as in Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Kalahandi, and some parts of Angul and Nayagarh.

The IMD has specifically warned of dense fog in one or two locations in Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
