Moradabad, 27 Feb (HS): The Nakhasa police station will take attachment
action against 14 accused involved in the violence that took place three months
ago in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Bishnoi
said on Thursday that non-bailable warrants have been issued by the court
against all these 14 accused. The search for these accused is on, but they are
still absconding. Meanwhile, Sambhal police is busy investigating the riots
that took place in the city in 1978, 1986 and 1992. The report will be sent to
the government as soon as it is ready.

Kumar Bishnoi says that some people appeared before the judicial inquiry
commission on January 23. They said that they were victims of the riots of
1978, 1986 and 1992. They also said that they suffered loss of life and
property in these three riots, but did not get justice. The Superintendent of
Police further said that action will be taken on the basis of whatever
instructions are received from the government level. On that basis, the report
of those three riots is being prepared. He said that the status of the cases
will also be looked into.
These
families had raised the demand for an investigation. Accepting this demand, the
records are being searched. The SP says that how many people were booked in the
riots and what is the status of those cases. A report will be prepared
considering all these points. After that it will be sent to the government. It
is taking time because the records are in Moradabad.
