Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), 26 February (HS): Vikramotsav 2025, focused on Vikramaditya, his era, India's rise, renaissance and Bharat Vidya, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in the dignified presence of Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at Dussehra Ground today on the occasion of Mahashivratri at 8:30 pm.

On this occasion, Padmashree Anandan Shivamani, Hansraj Raghuvanshi and Shiva-Dal Bhopal will also perform in the cultural program. Director of Maharaja Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth Shriram Tiwari said that this first phase of the 125-day Vikramotsav will be completed on Srishti Aarambh Divas Varsh Pratipada (30 March 2025).

On the same day, Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan will be launched. In this campaign, till June 30, programs will be organized for the promotion and conservation of rivers, ponds and water structures of entire Madhya Pradesh. He told that this year Vikramotsav will start with Kalash Yatra, which will also include vintage cars and sports bikes. Along with this, there will also be a performance by tribal artists in the Kalash Yatra.

The main program includes the inauguration of the outline of all the 51 major Mahashivratri fairs starting in entire Madhya Pradesh, Simhastha 2028, as well as the evening cultural program will have a musical presentation by Shivom-Anhad, Shivadal, Bhopal, Anandan Shivmani and team and Hansraj Raghuvanshi. In the same sequence, Vikram Trade Fair, Textile Industry, Handloom Equipment Exhibition etc.

Tribal crafts, traditional cuisine and tribal traditional medical camp will be organized under crafts. Tiwari said that on today's inauguration occasion, the main artists of the presentations of two devotional music are Anandan Shivmani and Hansraj Raghuvanshi. Anandan Shivamani is a famous percussion artist of India, known for his unique and energetic style of playing dholak, tabla, drums and other percussion instruments. Music related to Shiva devotion is an important part of his art. Shivamani has composed many musical compositions about Lord Mahadev, especially in devotional music. In which Shiva Tandava is prominent.

Along with this, Hansraj Raghuvanshi is a famous Indian bhajan singer, writer and composer, who is especially known for the bhajans of Lord Shiva. His bhajan Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari, released in 2019, gave him wide recognition and the song became very popular. Hansraj Raghuvanshi has also made his mark in Bollywood.
