Bengaluru, 26 February(HS): Ten devotees led by Shri Veerabhadra Shivacharya Swamiji of the Kadaganchi Mutt offered prayers to the Raghavachaitanya Shivalinga idol on the premises of Ladle Mashak Darga on the outskirts of Aland Taluka headquarters in Kalaburagi district. this afternoon.

It may be recalled here that although the Kalaburagi bench of the state high court had granted permission for 15 devotees to perform puja in its orders on Tuesday, only 10 people went to the Darga today and offered puja.

Shri Veerabhadra Shivacharya Swamiji of the Kadaganchi Mutt, who led the 10 member devotees' team disclosed that the puja was performed following the rituals of Rudrabhisheka offering bilva patra. However, he parried queries on why 15 members didn't go to the Darga to worship, as permitted by the Kalaburagi bench of the state high court.

The worship proceedings went on smoothly as police had beefed up heavy security in and around the Ladle Mashak Darga, where the Raghavachaitanya Shivalinga is found.

The ten-member team was subjected to security protocol and demanded Aadhar cards to prove their identity.
