Shivpuri, 02 February (HS): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has expressed deep grief over the death of devotees of the state in the bus accident of MP in Gujarat. The Chief Minister has directed to provide financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each from the Chief Minister's Vyavadan fund to the families of the deceased in this accident, Rs 1 lakh each to the seriously injured and Rs 50,000 each to the general injured.

A bus carrying some devotees from Ramgarh in Kolaras area of ​​Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh fell into a ditch at Saputara Ghat in Dang district of Gujarat at 4:00 am on Sunday, killing 5 people. This includes 4 devotees from Kolaras assembly constituency of Shivpuri district. These deceased are residents of Ramgarh village of Kolaras assembly constituency. While one deceased is from Vidisha and is the driver of the bus. Most of the people in this bus were residents of Ramgarh and Bijrauni villages of Indar police station area of ​​Kolaras assembly constituency of Shivpuri district.

The people who died in the bus accident include Bholaram Kushwaha resident of Ramgarh district Shivpuri, Guddi Rajesh Yadav resident of Ramgarh district Shivpuri, Kamlesh Veerpal Yadav resident of Ramgarh district Shivpuri, Brijendra alias Pappu Yadav resident of Bijrauni district. While one driver Ratan Lal Jatav is a resident of Sironj district Vidisha. It is being told that all these people had gone on a pilgrimage to Rameshwar Dham on 23 December. All the people were returning home from the pilgrimage, when this accident happened. There were about 50 passengers in this bus. 35 passengers are injured in the accident. The condition of 16 of them is said to be critical, who have been admitted to the hospital in Dang. One passenger has been referred to Surat.

The bus went out of control at the ghat-

The bus was going from Trimbakeshwar in Maharashtra to Dwarka in Gujarat carrying pilgrims. This bus suddenly went out of control at the ghat about two and a half kilometers from Saputara and the accident happened. The local police and villagers immediately started relief and rescue work. All the injured were taken out of the bus and taken to the hospital.

Expressing grief over the bus accident, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said on social media through X, Very sad news has been received about the untimely death of the driver from Vidisha and four passengers from Shivpuri and injuries to more than 20 passengers in the unfortunate accident in which a passenger bus carrying devotees of Madhya Pradesh to Dwarka fell into a ditch near Saputara Ghat in Gujarat on the Nashik-Surat highway. The health condition of the seriously injured in the accident is being monitored.

The Chief Minister said, My condolences are with the bereaved families. Instructions have been given to provide Rs 4 lakh each from the Chief Minister's Vishvagyanudan fund to the families of all the deceased, Rs 1 lakh each to the seriously injured along with proper treatment and financial assistance of Rs 50,000 each to the general injured. I pray to Baba Mahakal to give a place to the pious souls of the deceased in his lotus feet, speedy recovery to the injured and strength to the bereaved families to bear this deep sorrow.

Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has also expressed grief over the bus accident. As soon as the news of this accident was received, Union Minister and MP Jyotiraditya Scindia called Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and urged him to help the families of all the deceased and the injured. Scindia said in his tweet that he is constantly in touch with the district administration and he has talked to the local administration and instructed to ensure immediate arrangements for the speedy treatment of the injured.
