New Delhi, 31 December (H.S.): Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan released the Government of India's official calendar for 2026 on Wednesday, adopting the theme India @ 2026: Service, Good Governance, and Prosperity to encapsulate the nation's transformative journey. The calendar highlights 2025's landmark reforms as pivotal milestones toward Viksit Bharat 2047, emphasizing inclusive growth, economic fortification, and sustainable development foundations without any ceremonial disruptions.

Reforms Driving National Vision

Dr. Murugan underscored that 2025 initiatives centered on economic and tax reforms aimed at alleviating citizen burdens while promoting voluntary compliance, positioning India on a high-speed Reform Express infused with inclusion and aspirations as articulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Secretary Sanjay Jaju elaborated that the monthly-themed calendar reflects this panoramic vision through representations of diverse sectors, communities, and generations, portraying the country at a critical inflection point.
