Dibrugarh (Assam), 26 December (HS): Flight operations at Dibrugarh Airport were disrupted on Friday due to dense fog conditions, causing significant inconvenience to passengers.
Poor visibility resulting from heavy fog led to delays in scheduled flights, leaving several passengers stranded at the airport for hours. Among those affected were Assam Minister Prashanta Phukan and Rupesh Gowala, who were also forced to wait due to the disruption.
Airport authorities stated that flight movements were impacted as safety protocols require adequate visibility for take-off and landing. Normal operations are expected to resume once weather conditions improve.---------------
