
New Delhi, 24 December (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday, December 25, coinciding with the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna recipient Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and will also address a public rally.
According to the Prime Minister's Office, the Rashtra Prerna Sthal represents a permanent national memorial complex developed to honor the legacy of key nation-builders of independent India. Constructed at a cost of approximately 230 crore rupees, this expansive complex spans 65 acres.
The premises feature towering 65-foot bronze statues of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It also houses a state-of-the-art museum shaped like a lotus, covering nearly 98,000 square feet.
Through digital and immersive technologies, the museum vividly showcases India's national journey and its enduring leadership heritage.
