In a post on X, Shah stated that Swami Shraddhanand Saraswati contributed equally to Swaraj and the preservation of Indian culture, while relentlessly combating social evils throughout his life. He highlighted the monk's indelible role in promoting women's education and advancing India's intellectual traditions, describing his legacy as an enduring inspiration for the nation.
Swami Shraddhanand Saraswati, a prominent Arya Samaj leader, social reformer, and active participant in the independence movement, drew inspiration from Swami Dayanand Saraswati. He devoted his life to education, women's empowerment, and social equality, playing a pivotal role in establishing Gurukul Kangri University.Fearlessly opposing untouchability, societal vices, and discrimination, he was martyred on December 23, 1926.
