Jammu, 19 December (H.S.)The Ministry of Home Affairs has approved the promotion of three IPS officers posted in Jammu and Kashmir to the rank of Inspector General of Police.

Those promoted include Tejinder Singh, while Abdul Jabbar and Udaybhaskar Billa have been granted proforma promotion.

The promotions are to the IGP grade in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix and will take effect from January 1, 2026, or from the date of assumption of charge, whichever is later.
