19 Dec (HS): The Uttar Pradesh Legislature session began on Friday. Proceedings
in both houses, the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council, began at
11 a.m. As soon as the Assembly proceedings began with the singing of Vande
Mataram, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Leader of the House, introduced a
condolence motion in the House on the passing of MLA Sudhakar Singh. Leaders of
all parties expressed their condolences, and the House adjourned until 11 a.m.
on Monday, December 22.
Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath said in the House that Sudhakar Singh had been elected
to the Legislative Assembly from Mau district for the third time. He was also a
democracy fighter and had contributed to social service. His untimely demise is
an irreparable loss to society.
Leader
of the Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey said that he had been struggling since his
youth. He was always engaged in serving the society. That is why when he won
the election for the third time, it was a huge victory. He was a leader of our
party. His death has caused a loss to our party. We all express our deepest
condolences to his family. Congress Party leader Aradhana Mishra Mona, Nishad
Party's Dr. Sanjay Nishad, Bahujan Samaj Party leader Umashankar Singh, and
leaders of other parties remembered late MLA Sudhakar Singh.
