
Guwahati / New Delhi, 15 December (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at Parliament House in New Delhi and held discussions on several key issues related to the development of the state and the welfare of its people.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister apprised the Union Finance Minister of Assam’s ongoing development initiatives and priorities, while deliberating on matters aimed at strengthening the state’s growth trajectory.
Dr Sarma expressed his gratitude to Sitharaman for her continued support to Assam, stating that the Centre’s cooperation has played a crucial role in advancing the state’s development and ensuring the welfare of its citizens.---------------
