The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appointed Bihar Cabinet Minister Nitin Nabin as its National General Secretary on Sunday, as announced in a statement by national general secretary Arun Singh. The decision, endorsed by the BJP Parliamentary Board, marks a strategic elevation for the 45-year-old leader currently serving as Minister for Road Construction in the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government.

A four-time MLA from Bankipur constituency and son of senior BJP figure Naveen Kishor Sinha, Nabin hails from the influential Kayastha community, bringing youthful vigor and organizational acumen to the national role.
